No. The electric drill is powered through its supplied USB cable.
Which lamp is included?
The option photograph and contents panel identify either the compact one-button lamp or digital 18-LED lamp.
What should I do before starting?
Check the contents panel for your chosen set, then wash and dry your hands and push back the cuticles gently before shaping.
How do I use the curing lamp?
Place the hand inside, start the timer and keep the nails still until the cycle ends. Follow the curing time printed on whichever gel product you use.
How do I use the electric drill safely?
Fit a bit firmly, start at the lowest speed and keep the bit moving across the surface. Never hold it in one spot or press into the natural nail or cuticle.
Which bits and sanding bands should I use?
The sanding bands suit removing surface shine and smoothing, while the fine bits are for tidying edges. Use the least aggressive option that does the job.
Does the drill run on batteries?
No. It runs from its supplied USB cable.
Are gels or polishes included?
No. Polish, gel, acrylic and other coating products are not included in any set.
How do I clean the tools between uses?
Brush away dust, wipe the metal tools and drill bits with alcohol and let them dry. Replace sanding bands rather than reusing worn ones.
How do I look after my nails between manicures?
File in one direction, avoid over-thinning the nail plate with the drill, and leave gaps between gel applications if the nails feel weak.
Is it suitable for beginners?
Yes, with care. Practise the drill at the lowest speed on one nail first and build up slowly.
